Thanks to my generous donors - friends, family, supportive members of the public - I have successfully fundraised enough to cover the costs of a sufficient campaign! I appreciate every single cent that was donated which has allowed me the same privileges as candidates with disposable wealth without having to compromise my own personal living budget. It's not easy asking for donations but it's the only way a young person starting out in life with a mortgage and family expenses can get a leg up to represent people in a similar boat.  Standing for local government should not only be accessible to those with disposable wealth. To say otherwise is to say that the underprivileged don't deserve a voice at the table. As a mum of two little ones and as a family on one income during a cost-of-living crisis, I needed to fundraise to be able to pay for new signs and other forms of advertising. This will ensure more reach for my candidacy and allow more people to find out who I am and what I stand for. Your support is much appreciated! Representation matters!
